Last updated: May 2026

This policy explains what personal data Veya Cue collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Who we are

Veya Cue is a queue management service operated by Veya Cue, a brand of Anglo Ascot Group, a sole trader, based in the United Kingdom (the "Service"). For privacy enquiries, please contact us at contact@angloascotgroup.com.

Data we collect

From businesses using Veya Cue

  • Account details, including name, email, business name and password hash.
  • Business configuration, including services, instructions and queue preferences.
  • Billing information for paid plans, processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
  • Usage data, such as login times, basic device information and error logs.

From customers joining a queue

  • Information the customer enters when joining, typically name and phone number.
  • Queue activity, including queue number, join time and status changes.

Why we use it

  • To provide the Service: running the queue, displaying status and sending notifications.
  • To keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
  • To handle billing and customer support.
  • To improve the Service through aggregated, non-identifying analysis.

Lawful basis (UK GDPR)

  • Contract: to deliver the Service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests: to keep the Service secure and improve it.
  • Consent: for optional cookies and any optional marketing communications.
  • Legal obligation: to keep records required by law.

Sharing and processors

We share data only with the providers required to operate the Service:

  • Hosting and database providers for backend infrastructure.
  • Stripe for payment processing.
  • Email delivery providers for transactional emails.

We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle disputes and meet legal obligations. Customer queue entries are kept only as long as required to provide the Service to the business and for short-term history. Businesses may request earlier deletion.

Your rights

You may request to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

International transfers

Some of our providers operate outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent.
